Web designing has been my hobby since the late 1990s but with focus on education it’s always been sitting on the side but since around 2005 I’ve been able to devote more and more time to my hobby. The web has developed so much since the good old days and now has been separated with Styling (CSS) and Markup (HTML or XHTML) making it easy for people to work and design sites. This allows the “Designer” to work on the design of the site which the “Developer” can code the site. Hence the Designer doesn’t need to understand the coding side of site and vice versa. In my case, I play the role of both in most cases, I am the Designer and the Developer. These days however I use Content Management and Blogging applications like Joomla and Wordpress respectively.
